Superman has Lex Luthor, Green Lantern has Sinestro and Batman has the Joker, so who would be Batwoman's arch-enemy? Well none other than Alice herself! Today Deadline.com is reporting that the pilot has been able to find their Alice in CW alumna, Rachel Skarsten. Rachel played Queen Elizabeth on CW's show Reign, but also interesting to note, Skarsten is a legacy casting choice as well. Rachel had one of her first starring roles on Birds of Prey (the WB network that became The CW). Rachel played Dinah Lance. The character of Alice is described as:

The leader of her Lewis Carroll–inspired Wonderland Gang. Swinging unpredictably between maniacal and charming, Alice has made it her mission to undermine Gotham’s sense of security.

Rachel's casting not only makes her a DC "legacy" actor, it also marks the second time she will have played a character named Elizabeth, since her Batwoman character's real name is Elizabeth Kane, which makes her the second character with that name to be associated with Batwoman, the first being Kate's cousin Mary Elizabeth "Bette" Kane, upon whom the television-exclusive Batwoman character of Mary Hamilton has been at least partially based.

I literally flew out of bed when I saw this on Twitter! I am so excited for Rachel to be on the Batwoman Tv series. Rachel played my Favorite Character Tamsin a Bad A— Valkyrie off of Lost Girl. Now to see her play a Villain on Batwoman. I don’t know if I will be able to handle this. She is going to be an amazing and talented addition to the show. It just makes it some much harder to wait and see the Premier. Already on Team Alice! Lets send her a lot of love and support her way people. Welcome to the Batwoman Family Rachel Skarsten! Hugs!

Nice to see they've got their first legacy casting for Batwoman, but I'm not sure why she keeps being listed as Black Canary from Birds of Prey. Dinah never had the canary cry. She had pre-cognition, telekinesis, and was a touch telepath, who could even enter and bring people into another person's mind, as she did in the very first episode with Helena and Barbara. He mom, Carolyn Lance (Lori Loughlin), was Black Canary.

Yeah, I remember her from Birds of Prey, and checked some months ago what she was doing since.
I always loved the "Batgirl" episode from that show
Perfect costume and a good cowl/mask as well!
