The images for the next episode might not be numerous, but they do tell a story. Particularly in regards to Ryan's Kryptonite wound - it's getting worse. We also have a shot of Jacob looking a lot worse for wear while being held hostage, so clearly the person holding them there, seen in the trailer briefly, is desperate to get the Desert Rose. We'll be anxiously waiting to see how the story progresses next week. Meanwhile, take a look at the gallery below:

Yeah, the kryptonite injury was likely to play in with the scrapped crossover. Time to resolve it and move on.
But my guess would be that the guy wants to get the Desert Rose for whatever reason, and in the end, Ryan will get it and can be cured that way. It's time that the "Kryptonite wound" chapter gets closed.
Perhaps they will add some more pictures during the week, wouldn't be the first time that happened.
