[SPOILERS ahead, I recommend that you watch the episode before you continue!]
[SPOILERS ahead, I recommend that you watch the episode before you continue!]

“General”:
My highlights from this episode (without particular order):
1 – Batwoman VS Titan! I loved their encounters, these were some intense fight scenes! Batwoman got into serious trouble twice and it showed that she could need some more and stronger ranged weapons, especially VS fighters that are really strong on close combat like he was. Her bracers were really crucial in these figths ;-)
2 – Alice VS the professor! This scene showed the complete range of Alice. First some witty and hilarious dialoges(!) and then as she realises that he told her everything of interest....her madness surfaces as she kills him off. She is a really charismatic villain with no remorse at all for taking a life.
3 – Mary tries to convince Jacob to work with Batwoman! The scene on the rooftop was a thriller as Mary passionately tries to bring her father to see Batwoman as an ally instead of a menace. Even Jacob is pissed about Mary being involved with Batwoman it seems that she convinced him....
4 – Jacob betrays Batwoman! This wasn't a surprise to me as I saw the trailer for the episode....but damn....Jacob is really on a warpath! Instead of unmasking and arresting her, he tries to kill Batwoman! What is wrong with him? I thought for some moments that this couldn't be the real Jacob and it would be a Mouse with Jacob's face. I mean Batwoman's actions doesn't justify it at all that the Crows would try to execute her like that! But Jacob seems to hate her even more than he had expressed so far. And the Crows didn't question him as they all follow his example as he opened fire. And of course, Kate is shocked about her father trying to kill "her" like that. More on that later. Right now Jacob has become pretty much a villain himself.
5 - Kate presents the Kryptonite that Kara gave her! And the fact that she wants to keep it as she promised...shows that she really cares a lot about Kara. I read that Caroline Dries told that she originally should look at a picture of Kara that she has in her office. That scene couldn't be shoot anymore due to the abrupt halt as they couldn't film any longer. That shows how much she cares about her. I'm sure we will see they team up in a future Crossover (#World's finest?). They had a great chemisty in Elseworlds and Crisis...so I am looking forward to more!
6 - Alice and Mouse! - Wow, some great scenes with them! I smiled big time as the bats flew through her hideout. Mouse earned some more sympathy "points" as he really wants Alice to forget about her war against Batwoman. He was happy with their situation in Arkham...but Alice is so blind in her rage that she can't see clearly anymore. As Mouse expresses his wish to leave her, she even poisons him as she couldn't let him go. And in her logic that means that he has to die. Some emotional scenes with were perfectly played by Rachel Skarsten and Sam Littlefield. In the end I felt really sad for Mouse. I thought he might die in this episode...but certainly not like that!
7 - Tommy Elliot transforms into Bruce Wayne! Well, I certainly didn't see that coming! It's really nice improvised cliffhanger. He can become a big threat to team Batwoman. The question is, as Tommy Elliot can't mimick voices like Mouse could, how long will he be able to fool them? Or will he be able to sound like Bruce Wayne?

The opening scene with the fight with Jacob and Kate VS Titan was really good. In this one Jacob wasn't as triggerhappy as later with Batwoman. He could have shot him with the shotgun at the beginning. Luckily for Jacob Kate was there to save his ass, even she got into trouble as well. And it was one of the rare scenes were Jacob and Kate were together lately. However it is kind of dangerous for Kate to show her fighting skills in front of her dad....he might get ideas ;-) . Even she didn't have a choice here.
What really surprised me in a bad way that Hush suddenly knows that Kate is Batwoman! When did that happen? In the last episode Alice and Mouse didn't let him in on that secret. Why did Alice shared that secret with Hush? With him knowing it.....it will get very dangerous for Kate/Batwoman! I don't know why it wasn't shown as Alice told him that secret. Surely Tommy would be really stunned by that revelation as he knows Kate from former encounters. Perhaps that reveal was planned to be shown in the original plan with 22 episodes.
I am not very happy with everyone's obsession to get a gun that can kill Batwoman. I mean we already had the rail gun and the coil accelerator. Now projectiles with kryptonite that can also penetrate her suit? I mean there are so many other options to kill Batwoman! Her lower face and neck isn't protected, and she was lucky so far to didn't get a hit there. And also you could gas her, suffocate her, drown her, use heavy explosives etc.. There are plenty of ways to kill her, even with that suit. Or you could unmask her and then hunt the unprotected Kate. The villains need to get more creative! The "super gun" aspect gets overdone now in my opinion.
Mary and Kate had some hilarious scenes again. Love their chemisty! Kate remarks about her non-existing knowledge of football as a lesbian and her idea with the "sexy cheerleaders"... :-)
The Titan was a good adversary for the episode! An interesting background story and his fighting skill were a big problem for Batwoman and the Crows. He was a real force and the scene as he had pinned her down and she addressed his "human" side was done very well and was important to get to know him better.
Julia and Sophie were a little bit sidelined in this one but they had very interesting scenes. Sophie will have major problems with Jacob trying to kill(!) Batwoman....that may lead to Sophie leaving the Crows if Jacob won't change his attitude towards Batwoman.
It will be really interesting to see what's behind these pictures of Sophie and Julia! What did Julia do to motivate someone to threaten her like that? What was weird that these pictures didn't show Julia and Sophie in my opinion! They looked different! Perhaps that was due to the production halt? I guess they weren't be able to shoot that scene like they wanted to.
The scene near the end with Kate and Mary was intense and written very well. Kate is really shocked about Jacob's behaviour and Mary manages to calm her down. It was an intense scene between the sisters and showed how much their relationsship evolved since Mary knows about Kate being Batwoman.
Now Jacob seems on the lockout for a "stronger" weapon as well! I hope he doesn't get his hands on another super weapon that could penetrate Batwoman's suit. Come on Jacob, think of a good trap where Batwoman can't escape and then rip her mask off! ;-)
I loved the two scenes where Batwoman user her grapple gun in the stadium, these action shots were well done!

4,5 out of 5 – Even there were some aspects that I didn't like.....this improvised finale of the season offered SO many highlights! A worthy end to the season :-)

Do you take notes as you watch or is all this from memory? Another well written and highly detailed recap.

Jacob hatred to Batman and, by extension. Batwoman is deeply rooted to the death of his wife and loss of Beth. It has grown like a cancer inside him all these years. I suspect it will take learning Batwoman is Kate for him to ever stop and reevaluate his hatred. I am curious if Alice will ultimately be the one to make that big reveal to Jacob or will he find a way to harm/take down Batwoman and then realize it is Kate he harmed? Looks of powerful ways to go with the reveal when/if it happens.

I do love Mary's hilarious banter with everyone. She is the ray of light in all this darkness.

Rachel Skarsten was all over the map of emotions in this episode. Another batastic performance.

I started to argue with Kate through my tv screen that Supergirl didn't give her the kryptonite, she stole (took, borrowed?) it from evil alternate Earth Batman (Kevin Conroy), but I determined she was technically correct. Kate gave the kryptonite to Kara only to have Kara give it back in have the courage Batwoman will never use it.

I so want the Batwoman/Supergirl World's Finest crossover.

Thanks! Well, actually I watch the episode without taking notes as it would ruin the viewing experience. After I watched the episode I skip through the episode and take notes ;)
Don't know about "well-written" but I try my best, despite the fact that english isn't my first language. All that wrting helps me to improve.
Yeah, Alice knowledge of Kate being Batwoman is the damocles sword from the beginning. With that knowledge she can ruin's Batwoman's career at any point. Luckily she seemingly didn't consider it much, despite the episode in which she forced Batwoman to unmask in front of Parker. That's why Batwoman must always be cautious with her, I think if Alice gets too much cornered by Batwoman....Alice may choose to expose her! Of course, I hope that that never happens.
Yeah, Mary brings really a lot to the show. In the very first episodes she was only a pretty flat character...but she evolved a LOT during the season. Her dialoges with Luke and Kate are so often really hilarious. She has become a very important character.
And yeah, Kara and Kate have to meet again! I do hope that Melissa is ready for action when the Batwoman/Superman Crossover will be filmed.
Also, a world's finest crossover is really needed! I hope that the Supergirl show will continue after season 6 as well, so we can actually have that crossover.

The rooftop scene with Mary and Jacob and Batwoman was awesome. I was very impressed with Mary and her plea for Jacob to see the greater good. "If your own daughter no longer believes in what your doing, how can you expect total strangers to?" Wow! That would have made most reasonable people stop and think. Maybe Jacob got the idea to work with and then betray Batwoman because of Kate's betrayal of Alice?!?

(Jacob) tries to kill Batwoman!
He killed Titan in cold blood. Didn't even try to take him in. He also killed the Executioner in cold blood. He probably would have killed Alice if Kate hadn't been standing right in front of her (ep#2). I hafta say, I'm liking Jacob less and less. Jacob's desire to bring down Batwoman has become an obsession. There's gotta be something more driving him (beyond the death of his wife) to be so merciless. With the introduction of "Bruce Wayne", I wonder if it has to do with Batman/Bruce's disappearance (I think we're going to get some clues about that in the next season). I, too, am starting to think that maybe Jacob belongs in Arkham! And why didn't Batwoman just tell Jacob about the steroids and brain trauma? But then, given the above evidence, I doubt that would have stopped Jacob from killing Titan.

it is kind of dangerous for Kate to show her fighting skills in front of her dad
Actually, there's no reason why Kate shouldn't - after all, she'd been training her whole adult life to become a Crow. Regarding the subway scene, I kinda wonder if she kinda forgot that she didn't have the suit on when she tackled Titan in the subway, and nearly got hurt in the process?

Hush suddenly knows that Kate is Batwoman!
Yeah, I noticed that, too. But given that Alice was constantly name dropping Batwoman in the same sentence with "my sister", it's likely he would have figured it out anyway. No doubt, that scene was planned, but due to the shortened schedule... I know it won't happen, but if I were Kate, and Bruce suddenly showed up out of nowhere, the first thing I'd do is give a good hard tug on his face!

I laughed my ass off with that whole "sexy cheerleaders" scene! Partly because, yeah, I know nothing about football, and don't care to. Altho, to be fair, I do know a lot of lesbians who are very much into sports.

What did Julia do to motivate someone to threaten her like that?
She explained it to Sophie - she betrayed Safiyah by refusing to get the Journal for her. So, of course, now Safiyah is sending Julia a warning message.

I also knew Mouse was going to die, and that Alice would be the one to kill him. I imagined it would be because he would be about to kill Kate and force Alice to choose between him and Kate. I guess, in that regard, I was right. :o Altho, not quite in the way I was expecting. I have to admit, I didn't like the character of Mouse at first. But during these last few episodes, it seems to me that Mouse had really benefited from his time at Arkham. He had become the voice of reason, and the caretaker in me really wanted Alice to listen to him. "You've never known betrayal, until now." :( And once again, Rachel delivers on the gut-wrenching emotions!

I really love the idea that Caroline wanted that to be a picture of Kara (or Kate and Kara together?), and I kept waiting for Kate to turn it over so we could see it. Not showing it made it seem like it was just some random photo. I'm rather surprised that they didn't take the opportunity to get some shots when they were filming Crisis.

In case y'all haven't heard already, Melissa Benoist is pregnant, and she's due sometime this Fall. So Supergirl WILL be returning mid-season (which at this point is looking like Summer-ish, 2021), assuming the other shows are able to pick up again this Fall (for January 2021 premieres). So, I have no doubt that there will be a Batwoman/Supergirl crossover (they know the fans want it, and they want it, too), but it's likely going to be in the later part of the Batwoman season. Oh, I know! Maybe they can do a zoom chat between Kate and Kara! ;)

Well, yes, he knows of her training and she can show it to him.
I just think it is a ..little... dangerous when she reminds him like that by showing her skills. When he starts to think about the possibility of her being Batwoman...there are some hints....he could come on the right track.
Of course she didn't have much choice in this scene as she needed to come to his rescue as he was about the loose the fight.

In real life, I think anyone with half a brain could figure out that Kate Kane was Batwoman after seeing Batwoman up close. Particularly Sophie, cuz she's kissed them both! But, this is a comic book, and we are expected to suspend a certain amount of (dis)belief. So, in the context of a comic book, I think it's going to take more than seeing his daughter fighting for Jacob to think that she might be Batwoman. Besides, I think Jacob is too blinded by his hatred of Batwoman to even consider that it might be Kate.

Yeah, there are some clues that Kate is Batwoman.
They both appeared at the same time
The do have the same size....even.... ok, the cowl changes that a bit
They were never seen them at the same place (except for Sophie who saw the false Batwoman)
Lower face and eyes match
-
I read that many like you athena think that Sophie should recognise her as she kissed both.
Honestly I am not sure about.
It was quite some years between these kisses. Maybe Sophie was too ....excited....to realise that as she was after Batwoman. Maybe the fact that she saw the false Batwoman next to Kate... told her that they just can't be the same person.
But yeah, it is a comic book, and it's good that a secret identity there is harder to crack then it might be in reality.
