Ok, I wasn't sure to make a post out of it, but here it is:
The last 10 days were extremely quiet, no (real) news, no pictures or videos from the show.
I know they are just filming the episodes after the pilot for the last 6 weeks. They should have completed episodes 2, 3 and 4 by now.
I know I'm impatient when it comes to this show, but we haven't seen anything from these episodes.
There were these promo teasers with scenes, that... as I believe, aren't from the acutal show. I guess that are just scenes that were filmed to have promo-material.

I really hope they are working on videos/teaser/trailers with new material from the actual show. Especially with more scenes with Batwoman. None of the promo teasers from the last weeks had her included....

Do you think they will make a new, full trailer before the first episode? With scenes from the other episodes?
I really hope the promo machine will come to life again soon. I'm starving right now :D

And I'm gonna stay away from Batwoman related news once it airs. I want to binge multiple eps at a time. My preferred viewing style - so gotta wait for a build-up. Bit more time to keep riding the hype train for now though.

WHAAAAAAT?
You mentioned my self-discipline in regards of not viewing whole scenes before the episode....but DAMN, this is self-discipline on a whole other level!
I still remember the time as the countdown here was way over 200 days. And I was (and am) happy over every day that passed ever since. I will already have troubles to get through the monday until I can watch the newest episode (time difference etc.). But waiting now for several weeks...to watch episodes in a row??? Dodging spoilers for weeks? You would have to pay me ...several thousand Euro to do that :D
Well, I hope some other folks will be motivated by then to post here....lately it was kind of a "duet" here. ;)

I got used to binge watching, so I let stuff build. 2 or 3 eps at a time can be great, makes it movie-length. Watching Elseworlds all at once was fun for example.

It has been quiet, but once the show airs there will be a definite increase in traffic on the forums here. :)

A interesting interview with showrunner Caroline Dries:

I would love to see Batgirl in the Batwoman show one day, but if you are following her idea:
No Batman => no Commissioner Gordon => no Barbara Gordon

...it doesn't look very good :( .
Well, I won't give up hope on that!

"In the series, she may discover that her hair is a little unwieldy, and it might need a little haircut. But for the beginning part of the season, we just want to be true to what is cannon."

Well, that sounds VERY much like Batwoman is getting a haircut later on. :o
Right now I can't think of a version with shorter hair that I would really like. Ok, it may be more practical, and in the comics they don't have that problem since they can draw her as they want her to look....but changing her look like that, will get the hardcore comic fans pretty upset I guess.
And personally I think that "shorter hair" isn't a good thing on women in 95% of the cases ;)
Let's see how that will look in the end.

Maybe they'll give her the red bob as a shorter wig, since in Elegy Kate's (red) hair is a bob. The wig still has to be red, and if they get rid of the wig, then dye Kate's hair red. Needs the red.

I don't see why they couldn't introduce Oracle at some point. But they probably don't want to introduce too many bat-mythos characters too early, since the main cast needs to get established first.

Batwoman (Kate version) is quite new, and her family and ex are even newer (Jacob, Bette/Mary, Catherine, Sophie). And Luke/Batwing isn't widely known either. If they bring in too many well known (hero) characters like Barbara too soon, they are going to overshadow all the new characters and steal the spotlight.

Well, I hope there won't be any bob for Kate/Batwoman involved...as a wig or haircut :D

I was talking about Batgirl, not Oracle. I never liked that version of Barbara Gordon.
I rather would like to see her in action, kicking some thugs.
And yeah, most likely you are right about:
..."But they probably don't want tontroduce too many bat-mythos characters too early, since the main cast needs to get established first"
I do hope that this show will have at least 3 or 4 seasons. So, there should be time to build-in some of those characters later on.

I'd rather see Mary (who is Bette in the comics) become Flamebird or Hawkfire, like she does in the comics - that's Batwoman's sidekick.

Batgirl would overshadow her. Batgirl has had multiple appearances in animation and video-games (Arkham Knight story pack), and Barbara got to appear as Batgirl in action in Birds of Prey TV show. This is a first for Mary/Bette.

Likewise, Kate and Luke have had 1 animated film so far, and not much else (okay Kate was also in a Batman LEGO film, but 2 films is still hardly anything). Batwoman has had some video-game appearances, not as many as Batgirl, but some. But not so for Flamebird and Batwing.

Kate and Bette/Mary are family, so of course they are close, and in the comics Kate and Luke are friends who hang out (Tynion detective run). Kate and Barbara have only teamed-up about 3 times so far, so it wouldn't make any sense to bring her in too soon, they barely know each other.

People get Batgirl and Batwoman mixed-up all the time as is, and Batgirl has been around longer and is more well known. She'd overshadow Kate as well (if she is Batgirl), at which point they may as well have just made a Batgirl show instead. Also why isn't Batgirl protecting Gotham herself, why would Kate need to become Batwoman, if Batgirl is there and active Batwoman is seemingly redundant.

^ Yeah, can't really argue with that.
I just mention what I would like to have (Batgirl), no matter how realistic it is. ;)
Besides Batgirl there would be a couple of other masked women I would like to see in this show:
Catwoman, Spoiler or Flamebird like you mentioned.
But if she would appear, she would need to improve a lot on her fighting skills. In the Comics I know...she didn't accomplish much besides revealing Batwoman secret identity to the DEO. :D

Well would be cool if Batwoman and Batgirl teamed-up more in the comics. Last time Batgirl was talking about Batwoman she was literally saying "from what I know of her". And then I don't remember Kate ever talking about Batgirl. They barely talk to each other that's for sure.

They don't know each other even though they are both Bat-Family and turn-up to family meetings. Also Kate and Damian have never spoken to each other outside of the Bad Blood animated film. For that matter I only remember Bruce and Bette speaking the once, it was at a funeral and something like "hello cousin", or some such.

Anyway, back on topic:
