In Elseworlds/Trailers we saw Batwoman has:
*Batarangs
*Batclaw
*Bat-bike
In the comics, in the first solo run and/or Elegy Batwoman had:
*Batarangs
*Batclaw aka Grappling Hook
*Taser-gloves
*Pepper-gun (fires pepper pellets)
*Re-breather
*Binoculars
*Bat-bike (called Red Knight One)
*A sedative-laced Fear-Toxin syringe (which she injected herself with one time to prove a point to Maggie)
*Explosives, small ones for getting through doors, floor, and walls
*Some kind of constricting rope that she used on Bane
*Bullet-proof Batsuit (which was overpowered and probably why it seems like it might have been retconned since)
Second solo run:
*Some kind of jet-pack that flew onto her in the air, Iron Man style
*Bat-Bike could be controlled remotely
*Cowl has a defensive mechanism in it where someone trying to pull it off by force gets zapped
*Drones, but these were controlled by Julia Pennyworth and not actually Kate's - so not sure if they count
In the Tynion Detective Comics run:
*Taser Batarangs
Batman Bad Blood Animated Film:
*Twin pistols, later in the film she used rubber bullets
*Cape works as a glider
Other Appearances:
*Lenses on her cowl that reflects enemy attacks back (she used this against Mad Hatter's mind control device once)
*Smoke Pellets (I assume, since all the Bat-Family should have these)
I'm probably missing a whole bunch, but that's all I can remember at the moment.
Which gadgets would you like to see used in the show? Any additional ones that Batwoman hasn't used in the comics, you'd like to see?

Short answer: All of 'em! If they're used properly and introduced in a relevant way, then all tools should be fair game and be used as necessary.
"Dance Of The Clairvoyants" - Pearl Jam, from the CD/LP/Download Gigaton. (2020)

Impressive list!
I would like to see nearly all of them.
I am a fan of more or less "realistic" gadgets, not too much scifi.
So, the only one that would be a bit "too much" for:
"*Some kind of jet-pack that flew onto her in the air, Iron Man style"
Ok, she gets equiped by Luke Fox, but a Jet Pack would be a little over the top for me.
And maybe too much for a CW show as well (hard to realise, even with CGI).
-
Do you remember in which comic this was?
"*Cowl has a defensive mechanism in it where someone trying to pull it off by force gets zapped!"
Would love to know that!

Forgot to mention, in the second solo run she had a boat or ship of some kind, as a mobile base for globetrotting. So that's another one.

It was Batwoman Rebirth #8.

You beat me to it, thought about posting it too
Yeah, the latest teaser-teaser offered that look.
It's pretty hard to figure out ...with some of these items...what the actual purpose/function is.
And I'm wondering about two things:
- These are the gadgets at the point where Kate enters the batcave for the first time, so they are Batman's old gadgets.
And I'm pretty sure that Luke will design more of them...especially for Batwoman and may redesign others.
- They are all silver-metallic. A little weird in my opinion. Black would fit better for Batman (and would be less visible).
And I think Luke will re-color them for Batwoman. Black and Red would be my "guess"

Heh, yeah lots of new stuff to hit pause on with the newer trailers.
I see a lot of climbing equipment, axes, guns and grenades (presumably non-lethal), bottles, batarangs, utility-belt pockets, and a crossbow and bolts.

Hmm, maybe the bright lighting is making them look silver?

It would make sense that the gadgets and weaponry used be light weight, ergo, something that could be easily carried on the belt or hidden within the suit. The suit itself is probably the largest weapon in their arsenal. Through various incarnations in the comics and they have had electric shocks in there, communication devices incorporated, recording devices in the eye pieces, etc. It’s suppose to be bullet proof, knife proof, etc. The cape itself is suppose to be the same kind of memory cloth that Batman had which can be utilized as gliding material as well as bullet resistant.
As far as weaponry, though Kane has used a modified M5 as a gas gun and has used sidearms before, Batman convincing her to use rubber bullets, I wonder if there will be as much gun usage in Batwoman as one might suspect. After the huge push into the DEO with Supergirl about the new “no gun” policy, maybe it is something than Danvers will mention to Kane as they get to know each other. The responsibilities of being a Superhero and what that image conveys to the kiddos. I actually get more excited seeing the different ways superhero’s utilize non lethal force. It makes the fights get far more creative in my opinion.
Given the origins of the Dark Knight, I think the Red Knight will most likely be utilizing small tactical weaponry, like shuriken, spikes, as well as any other weaponry left behind in the Bat Cave. In the comics, Kane received additional training outside of West Point when the Colonel had them train with other tactical branches. Small arms and knife combat would most likely be skills acquired through them. Kane also has an acrobatics background and used a variation of Robin’s old staff, a Japanese Jō, at one point. It seems likely that there will be weaponry available or, at the very least, developed to fit Kane’s speed, agility, and military influences. Additionally, Rose has an affinity for the TMNT (Leo was my fav) so giving a subtle nod in the Ninja weaponry would be a nice little Easter egg.
On top of that, Kane would presumably have access to the Trophies collected from the Rogue’s Gallery, which would include Lex Luthor’s Kryptonite Ring and Deathstroke’s Sword amongst a whole bunch of other confiscated weaponry. The ring could lead to interesting conversations between Danvers and Kane if it gets brought up. Rumored is also a Green Lantern Ring which, if they roll forward for the potential of that series, could lead to an interesting crossover.
I guess overall, we’ll just have to find out! Their interpretation, their rules, their weapons of choice! Kane could become proficient with wielding rubber chickens! Chook to the face! Ha! Won’t be long now though! So excited!

^ Nice post!
Well, I guess she will start with the basic gadgets. Like in Elseworlds.
Grappling gun, batarangs and smoke pellets are the basic equipment.
The writers will expand that in each episode as the situations demands for more.

Given the changes required for social-distancing, it was time to revisit this thread.
For season 2:
Gadgets:
Batarang
Batclaw
Taser-gloves
Pepper-gun
Extra-long Bowstaff?
Twin pistols, with rubber bullets (see the animated Batwoman)
Seen in the weapons display (and assuming these will be used as non-lethal somehow):
Cross-bow
Grenades

^ Yeah, Batwoman certainly could use some more weapons/gadgets with some range. I wonder what they will come up with.

Regarding changes for social distancing (I know.... it get's a little off-topic):
I don't think they will start shooting before July/August, until then a lot of things can change/improve.
And I think it would be ridiculous to NOT shoot romance and close combat fight scenes.
I mean how else you wanna film such a TV show?
Everybody on set has to stay 5 feet away from each other?
Perhaps everyone needs to be wearing medical masks?
Yes, it need to be a safe for eyeryone to do those shootings.
Perhaps they can do it like they are planning it right now here in germany with the national football (soccer) league.
The teams (may) get isolated from the outside world, getting tested very often and will play the rest of the fixtures in empty arenas (besides staff and camera crews). There are still discussions right now, but they wanna continue the season in the middle of THIS month.
And besides that, they can see how certain states and countries will handle restrictions until then. I'm sure there will be some way how they can shoot the scenes like they needed to be shoot (with close interactions) AND being safe on the other hand.
Right now, my biggest fear is that they won't shoot scenes at all in the summer and that the show won't come back in the fall. But I hope that they find good solutions that that won't happen.

According to an interview with Camrus, episode 20 will be the season finale. It wasn't the planned finale, of course, but they made it work somehow, and he thought it was pretty good. He wasn't certain whether the planned episodes 21 & 22 would be folded into the next season.
My city just started opening up back up after 6 weeks of shelter-in-place - businesses are allowed 25% capacity, but everyone is still required to wear masks. Some cities nearby were opening up last week. My school, however, is still planning to hold all summer classes online. So, the world is beginning to take cautious steps. So, yes, there WILL be a season two - the pandemic can't last forever - but my guess is that they (all the shows) might be starting late.
As for the original topic of gadgets, Batwoman definitely needs more (propelled) ranged weapons. Maybe tricked-out batarangs (much like Green Arrow's specialty arrows). And more area-effect weapons, e.g. flash, sleeping gas, sonic.
I liked Kate's idea of echo-location in the cowl (as did Luke!).
Specialized bat-suits - a juggernaut suit (since so many villains seem to be so much larger than she is), a chameleon suit (for super-stealth mode), one for deep underwater, and sure, one for flying short distances (since it would most likely be night, the CGI wouldn't have to be spectacularly detailed).
It seems to me that Wayne Enterprises is the Stark Industries of the DC universe, so, I think we should be seeing a lot more new toys. Especially after the mention of Lucius Fox's journal in ep#117.
