Looking ahead to episode 5, fans may remember from the synopsis that Sophie and Commander Kane will approach the new Batwoman to see if they can use her to actually commit a crime in hopes that stealing a particular piece of art will provide them a map to Safiyah's hidden island. It seems like a crazy plan but seeing Commander Kane work with Batwoman instead of against her is a welcomed sight.
