Kane, Kate Gallery

It's the penultimate episode of Batwoman's second season, and we have a gallery with 15 new images for you to check out. We have quite a few interesting shots, like Mary being the one to go to Alice and probably convince her to go save her sister, Kate seeming like her old self in a printed shirt, looking relaxed and laid back, and Tavaroff joining forces with Black Mask. We're sure there's plenty more happening that we have yet to see, and we can't wait to see what next week will bring. Check out the full gallery below:

I really do think it's too soon for Kate to feel this comfortable, as the picture suggests. I bet this is the Circe persona. I wonder if Safiyah instigated it, as she seemed angling for something at the end of the last episode. I suspect Roman may be cross with her [Safiyah] as a result. It will be interesting to see if the Circe personality insert has lasting impact on Kate in regards to her tattoo affinity and fashion choices. But, I suspect the motorcycle and the leather jacket and tees will continue to be Kate's mainstays. Wallis can obviously rock that look! So many possibilities! I really hope Wallis is upped to series regular and gets more air time in S3.
Whether this is too soon, I think depends a lot on what else happens in this episode. Things moved really quickly last episode with a whole lot of stuff going on (after dragging the "Kate's Alive" story line along for 8 episodes). I'm thinking Caroline knows that fans want Kate back, so maybe that's why they fast tracked the memory recall? I really hope that they're not going to do with Kate what they did with Black Mask and loose that momentum. The synopsis does say "Black Mask continues to raise the stakes with Circe as his henchwoman", so certainly Circe will be in control for at least the first part of the episode. But the title is "Kane, Kate", so I'm thinking we could have Kate back by the end of the episode.

If Wallis is NOT upped to series regular next season then Caroline will have lied when she said they're not going to fall into the trope of "burying your gays".

I will be THRILLED if we get Kate back sooner as opposed to later!

As for Safiyah, I think she wants to punish Roman for perverting her precious Desert Rose into a street drug. What better revenge that to use Circe-Kate?

From a practical stand-point, unless Wallis decides to get a tattoo, to have to apply that in make-up every day... too much trouble.

Kate seems a bit too at ease kicking her feet up. I suspect Circe is in control and up to no good... but LOVE that picture! What a great transition.
In this case, my friend, I hope you're wrong! ;-) After this season (and year!) I need a happy ending - even if temporary. I do agree tho, I'm really digging this photo. Note the tattoo-less bare arms!

I think most true KK fans are needing a happy ending... at least the ones who haven't totally abandoned the show.

I wonder if we get an update on Jacob? I just realized he is MIA in the pictures.

And what is Mary doing in that tunnel with Alice? Has Alice called her to somehow bring Ocean back to life? Has Marry still some Desert Rose cure left after she made a potion for Luke?
Alice used the Desert-Rose-coated-dagger that Safiyah gave her to stab a corpse and disguised it as Ocean. But the corpse did not come back to life. So, it seems that coming back to life only works when the weapon is coated with Desert Rose serum at the time of the murder. But the show is known for its plot holes, so this detail could change.

Is that Mary in the abandoned subway car with Alice and the dearly departed Ocean? Did Ryan tell her where Alice was heading? The picture is really dark... is that Mary or Safiyah?
It's definitely Mary. Maybe she went looking for Alice cuz she didn't show up as expected to help in with Kate (who's probably MIA at this point)?

Quoting CatPat:
I really think it was a mistake to kill Ocean, but it may give Rachel an excuse to tap into some hidden emotions. She continues to impress me in this role.
I have to admit, Ocean really endeared himself after this last episode. But I suppose his death was necessary for Alice to become Red Alice, and Rachel to ramp up the emotional turmoil a notch or three.

Tavaroff already is part of a new squad? I guess you can't keep an unemployed haircut down.
Some plot threads are just so predictable/inevitable. Makes me wonder tho - what is the average salary for a Gotham Goon anyway?!? Does it include Medical, or just a drop-off at Mary's clinic?

Looks fun! After last week, hope has returned.

The first three pix could be that they're shocked to see Kate in the Cave, or shocked that the batsuit is missing, or maybe shocked that Kate is ... IN the batsuit?!?

Great shot of Kate sitting in her office - Wallis did her homework, and managed to capture Kate's essence. I'm hoping those are the final scenes of the episode - the calm before the storm of the finale.

Given the shots with Mary and Alice in the subway, I'm guessing not very many days have passed since the events of #216. I think Mary seeing Alice grieving is going to help Mary's (eventual) acceptance of Alice.

Speaking of timing... Roman told Safiyah that it had only been TWO DAYS since Alice applied the Circe skin mask to Circe-Kate's face and Kate still had burn scars then. And two days later, not a burn scar anywhere?!? Dang, I want some of that Sionis skin cream!

Very interesting and .....confusing....pictures!
They all seemed pretty shocked as they are in that elevator in the Batcave. Has Kate found her way into it on her own as some memories resurfaced?
But isn't she supposed to work for Black Mask? Is she playing nice to get her hands on the Batsuit and the gadgets?

These questions need answers!
