Tonight's all new episode of Batwoman felt like a ramp up to a huge season finale! Ryan securely holds the mantle of Batwoman but Kate Kane is starting to remember who she is! The battle inside her mind seems to be waging and while Cersi might have the upper hand for now, she can't reconcile that she has Kate Kane's memories. Will Safiyah be there to offer solutions? Also, with two major deaths in tonight's episode, it remains to be seen if Alice can hold on to sanity long enough to bring Kate back! Check out the trailer for "Kane, Kate" below:

That could be an interesting as well as potentially frustrating twist. I assume Roman will play into S3 unless he meets his demise in the S2 finale. I figured Safiyah would be wrapping up her arc at the end of the season, but I wonder if she has more plans involving Circe-Kate. She seemed to be pushing the confrontation between Roman and Circe-Kate at the end of the last episode. But, to what end? As Alice would say, curiouser and curiouser.
Another thought that I had that alludes back to the discussion of Roman having Kate's passphrase, and the end of #216 where Circe-Kate goes back to Roman - what if he has the opposite? Rather than the phrase to unlock Kate's memories, a phrase that reinforces Circe's?!?
But as Circe Kate goes to the Batcave....does that mean that Roman and Safiyah then know who is in team Batwoman??? Ryan gets attacked by the GCPD, pretty sure that Roman and Safiyah are behind that, why else would the GCPD attack Ryan with a SWAT team? --- And we still don't know why these two knew that Kate Kane is/was Batwoman! I hope that gets answered now!
Hmmm... Ryan was living in Kate's apartment with Mary... not really sure how the van is back in play?
The lead writers for this episode are Chad Fiveash and James Stoteraux - the same ones who wrote #111 "An Un-Birthday Present" (among others), so... yeah... maybe... I would dare!
Yeah, I know, I just don't like being teased with bringing Batwoman 1.0 back, and then have that yanked out from under us, AGAIN!
Oh, I like the idea of the journals! I think reading the journals could be something that happens near the end of Circe's reign of terror to help bring Kate fully back to the Light Side.
I think you're right! Given how quickly this last episode moved, I'm wondering if we'll get Circe-Kate this episode, and Kate-Circe during the finale? And diminishing Circe influences thruout S3?
She could always claim temporary insanity (as could Alice, for that matter) if things did go south, but... mischief is good!
Another thing I noticed - what is Ryan doing back in her van? She's been working at the Hold-Up for a while now (and presumably wasn't fired), can she not afford an apartment yet?!?
As much as I and most Kate Kane fans want it, I really doubt that happens. I suspect Circe-Kate will tell Ryan the suit is in good hands and keep it, at least for now. She has a long road to full recovery. Hopefully, she at least remembers Mary soon... poor Mary!
I'd like them to show Circe-Kate alone in the Batcave reading through the journals, both her old entries, as well as Ryan's.
I think we will see Circe-Kate become Kate-Circe before she is just Kate again.
In the interim, I just hope Circe-Kate doesn't cross a line she can't come back from... but, I'd be down for a little mischief.
I wonder why she now returns to the Batcave? Will we have an evil Circe-Batwoman now who will take advantage of the suit to do evil things?
And then Batwoman and Circe-Batwoman will fight it out in the last episode?
Looking forward to what Black Mask and Safiyah are up to!
Perhaps she will, but not for long.
But perhaps they will fight side by side in season 3.
