In the comics,Red Death is an evil version of Batman. from the Dark Multiverse introduced in the Dark Nights: Metal event from 2017-2018 who stole his world's Flash/Barry's speed.So an evil speedester Batman.Red Death was teased in season 5 of The Flash and will now be introduced in the final season of the showJavicia will playing the Arrowverse version of the character.I assume this will be an evil speedster version of Batwoman.

Flash Adds Batwoman's Javicia Leslie to Final Season Cast — But as Who?

Javicia Leslie is headed back to the Arrowverse.

The actress, who starred as the titular heroine on The CW’s Batwoman for two seasons, is joining the cast of The Flash for the show’s ninth and final season, Entertainment Weekly reports. Details on who she’s playing remain under wraps, though, and it’s also unclear if Leslie’s role will be in a guest-starring or series-regular capacity.

Leslie starred as Ryan Wilder, aka Batwoman, on The CW’s Batwoman beginning in Season 2 until the show’s cancellation after three seasons in April. Following the news that Batwoman would not be returning for Season 4, Leslie wrote on Instagram, “I was taught that words have power and we speak our life into existence. Well, I spoke this role into my life, and what an honor it has been to watch it play out exactly how it was meant to Family, this Bat Team is ours… HERstory was made and it can never be taken.”

She previously appeared in Season 8 of The Flash (in the episode “Armageddon, Part 4”) in a potential future in which Ryan and Sophie (played by Meagan Tandy) are happily married and thinking about adopting a child together.

The Flash will make its farewell run with an abbreviated 13-episode season, set to debut early next year. Grant Gustin, Candice Patton and Danielle Panabaker are the remaining original cast members slated to return, with Jesse L. Martin stepping down as a series regular to star in an NBC pilot.

The Flash casts Batwoman star Javicia Leslie in mystery role for final season

She's not done with the Arrowverse yet!

Javicia Leslie isn't done with the Arrowverse.

The former Batwoman star has been cast on The Flash for the upcoming ninth and final season, EW has confirmed. However, details about her role and how many episodes Leslie will appear in are being kept top secret for now.

The news that Leslie is flying over to The Flash comes only a few months after her Arrowverse series Batwoman was suddenly canceled in April after three seasons, despite fans and critics championing it for being the first network TV show with an LGBTQ superhero lead, first played by Ruby Rose, with Leslie stepping in as her replacement in season 2 to become the first Black actress to play the DC Comics heroine in live-action.

Batwoman showrunner Caroline Dries was the first to announce the show's cancelation. "Just got the sad news that #Batwoman will not be seeing an S4," she wrote on Twitter. "I am bummed, but full of gratitude. What an honor to make 51 episodes. So many inspiring, brilliant people contributed to this series."

In August it was announced that The Flash would end up after the upcoming ninth season. The final season will also be shortened, consisting of only 13 episodes.

"Nine seasons! Nine years of saving Central City while taking audiences on an emotional journey full of heart, humor, and spectacle," showrunner Eric Wallace said in a statement. "And now Barry Allen has reached the starting gate for his last race. So many amazing people have given their talents, time, and love to bring this wonderful show to life each week. So, as we get ready to honor the show's incredible legacy with our exciting final chapter, I want to say thank you to our phenomenal cast, writers, producers, and crew over the years who helped make The Flash such an unforgettable experience for audiences around the world."

The Flash season 9 is currently in production and slated to air in 2023.

Thanks for the links!
I'm glad she is back, and I hope she will appear in that interesting role in many episodes.
Her show is already over but it's nice that she will be in that final Flash season which will mark the end of the Arrowverse.
